History

Discover Therapy was previously owned by Physical Therapist, Michelle Christie, and known as Christie Therapy Center, Inc. The center has been serving Lafayette, since 1986 and has since changed over the years from a primarily Speech and Learning Center to encompass the whole child. The center currently offers Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy, in addition to Speech Therapy, in order to better meet the needs of our patients under one roof. In April 2018, Discover Therapy moved to a new location in the Oil Center of Lafayette.

Our TEam

Our team is made up of individuals who come from diverse professional backgrounds. Despite the different roads that have led each member to Discover Therapy, each person on the team has come together because of their love and passion for working with children. As a team and as individuals, we understand that every child has their own specific needs, and our goal is to address each one of those needs individually and compassionately. Thank you for taking the time to get to know Discover Therapy a little better.
